As a Head of IT Systems Risk, You will be responsible for:
- Leading a diverse team of risk specialists, with the aim of encouraging them to mitigate risk for customers.
- Driving automation and innovation of risk and control measurement, monitoring and reporting.
- Leading continuous review and enhancement of risk policies & appetite through the identification & assessment of emerging & growing risks
- Owning the design and implementation of risk policies to enable objectives to be met.
- Providing pragmatic advice to support informed key risk decisions and trade-offs (balancing commerciality and risk appetite).
Ideally, you will have the following experience:
- Experience of developing and owning group level policy and setting risk-appetite,
- Strong IT Systems Risk experience within the Financial Services space. Including knowledge of key technology risks faced.
- Curiosity and understanding on emerging technologies.
- Demonstrable experience of your ability to coach, mentor and inspire others to drive innovation and improvement.
