Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a centralized cloud data platform and advanced analytics team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, performance, and innovation, while equipping the team with the necessary skills and tools.
- Grow the team through strategic hiring initiatives.
- Ensure stability, security, and development of the data platform in collaboration with a managed service provider (Xebia).
- Implement processes for incident response, change management, and performance monitoring.
- Establish a new Data Science platform using Databricks and AzureML.
- Develop reusable components like data loading mechanisms and policies for data masking and retention.
- Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations and best practices.
- Continuously improve the platform in line with evolving industry trends.
- Develop and operationalize a TOM for advanced analytics, enabling efficient productionization of data science models.
- Establish MLops capabilities for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related fields.
- Proven experience in managing teams and centralizing data platforms and data science capabilities.
- Expertise in cloud-based data platforms and advanced analytics tools.
- Financial industry experience with a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in MLOps, Databricks, and AzureML is highly desirable.
- Exceptional project management and interpersonal skills.
