Internal IT Audit Team Manager – Amsterdam 
 
An exciting opportunity opened up top join a Fortune500 company within the FMCG sector as an Internal IT Audit Team Manager. You will get the chance to lead the IT Audit team, being right at the intersection of technology and innovation, governance and change. With your insights and expertise you will be able to support the company in mitigating its strategic and operational risks. They are looking for someone who’s not just skilled but is visionary, someone who is not just about ticking boxes but is about innovation, efficiency, and strategic contributions to risk mitigation. If you are conversant with emerging trends in IT, cybersecurity, and audit and can integrate this knowledge into actionable insights, then you are the right fit! 
 

Your responsibilities include:
  • Lead the planning phase and preparation of the Audit or Management Support Planning Memorandum
  • Gather and review background information on the business or process to be reviewed, including through management interviews and the use of data analytics.
  • Manage the team and own time to deliver assignments under the supervision and guidance of the Director
  • Lead and develop a team of managers, both as direct reports and project team
  • Support departmental initiatives aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Internal Audit function, making it an example of operational excellence


Preferred Qualifications: 
  • A relevant university degree and/or technical IT accreditations 
  • Qualifications and accreditations (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, CISA, CISSP) 
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience across a combination of the following:
  • A specialism in one or more IT disciplines used (e.g., IT Security, SAP, Database management, Network technologies, IT Service Management, Microsoft enterprise platforms).
  • "Data friendly" with the ability to understand, manipulate, and leverage data for analysis and reporting.
  • A strong team spirit and demonstrated capacity to work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to apply structured Internal Audit methodology and use the Audit Management
  • Proven ability to manage a project team: setting objectives, coaching, supervision, providing feedback on performance, and team motivation.
