Your responsibilities include:
- Lead the planning phase and preparation of the Audit or Management Support Planning Memorandum
- Gather and review background information on the business or process to be reviewed, including through management interviews and the use of data analytics.
- Manage the team and own time to deliver assignments under the supervision and guidance of the Director
- Lead and develop a team of managers, both as direct reports and project team
- Support departmental initiatives aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Internal Audit function, making it an example of operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
- A relevant university degree and/or technical IT accreditations
- Qualifications and accreditations (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, CISA, CISSP)
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience across a combination of the following:
- A specialism in one or more IT disciplines used (e.g., IT Security, SAP, Database management, Network technologies, IT Service Management, Microsoft enterprise platforms).
- "Data friendly" with the ability to understand, manipulate, and leverage data for analysis and reporting.
- A strong team spirit and demonstrated capacity to work in a multicultural environment
- Ability to apply structured Internal Audit methodology and use the Audit Management
- Proven ability to manage a project team: setting objectives, coaching, supervision, providing feedback on performance, and team motivation.
