Overview:
Working closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Financial Crime and Head of Sanctions, for a well renowned Bank, you will ensure consistent application of legislative requirements through procedures in 1LoD.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Team in reviewing and updating financial crime and sanctions related policies and procedures.
- Provide advice on sanctions matters to the business, second line and management.
- Interact with the regulator accordingly.
- Support completion of financial crime and sanctions risk assessments.
- Undertake financial crime and sanctions control testing to ensure the systems and controls in place to manage sanctions risk are sufficient and up to date.
- Support for FCC related projects and enhancements where required.
Ideal experience:
- Understanding of global sanctions and trade finance.
- Understanding of the financial crime and sanctions legislative and regulatory environment.
- 3+ years sanctions experience.
- Ability to read and assess legislative and regulatory notices and interpret them for implementation.
- Right to work in the UK
