Responsibilities:
- Assess and quantify economic damages in various IP matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright infringements, trade secrets misappropriation, and breach of contract.
- Draft expert reports for review.
- Provide strategic recommendations and case direction.
- Oversee and mentor junior team members.
- Lead meetings with counsel, clients, or experts.
- Prepare experts for deposition and trial.
- Engage in business development.
- Train and develop colleagues.
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business/management.
- 6+ years in Forensic Accounting, preferably in IP valuation.
- Experience in disputes, commercial litigation, and fraud is a plus.
- Expertise in IP-related damages and remedies.
- Preferred credentials: CPA, CFE, CFA, CLP.
- Experience as a damages expert witness in court.
- Team management skills.
- High-quality analysis and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, etc.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and deadline-driven.
- Experience with patents and FRAND.
- Extensive financial modeling experience.
