Our leading, Trading client is on the search for a skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing Internal Audit Team. This role is a Hybrid-Role based in Lyon, France.

Our leading, Trading client is on the search for a skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing Internal Audit Team. This role is a Hybrid-Role based in Lyon, France.
Responsibilities of Senior Auditor:
- Plan and execute audit assignments and audit reports from first draft to final throughout the region.
- Contribute to the development of a suitable audit plan in collaboration with the functional teams.
- Conduct walkthroughs of important processes to verify process documentation and evaluate risks related to internal controls, under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate proficiency in gathering and analysing essential data to support a risk-based approach for establishing and upholding a robust internal control framework.
- Ensure a close alignment of Internal Audit and Compliance.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Audit, gained in either a professional practice or corporate environment (ideally Big 4).
- Experience in a risk and controls environment.
- Knowledge of programming languages e.g. VBA, SQL.
- Understanding of ERP systems.
- Commercial mindset, managing workload while prioritizing emerging risks, is essential.
- Preferably Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology.
- Ability to travel to other sites as needed.
