We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong Python background to help build and optimize our distributed API system that interacts with LLMs. The ideal candidate is a generalist with experience in backend development, network programming, and distributed systems, ensuring smooth communication between our web front end and backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems, focusing on distributed computing and API interactions with LLMs.
- Work with Django and FastAPI to build scalable and efficient services.
- Design and implement networked services that can handle distributed workloads.
- Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
Requirements:
- Strong Python backend experience, with a focus on building web APIs
- Experience with distributed systems and network programming.
- Hands-on experience with Django (including async Django) and FastAPI.
- Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar), though specific expertise is less important than adaptability.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
